I presented a poster at the IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics in October 2019 published in the conference proceedings.
This work began as a project for a data science class in fall 2019. During the spring and summer of 2020, I served as a research scholar at the Massive Data Institute at the McCourt School of Public Policy where I worked to expand and reframe the project. The resulting paper will be submitted for publication in fall 2022.
This project predicts whether online peer-to-peer loans are fully or partially funded. It was completed and presented at the 2019 InnovateGCL Competition, a national hackathon for students at CapitalOne Headquarters, where it won the best pitch prize in the FinTech category.
