Julianne Zech


Work I'm a product manager (and former software engineer) at BlackRock NYC in the Aladdin Product Group. I spent time as an engineer on the Portfolio Performance, User Experience, and Trading Automation teams. I currently work on the Alternatives team supporting our private markets technology business. I'm passionate about fintech, product, and investing.

Education I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University in 2020 with majors in computer science and math. My coursework included algorithms, AI, statistics, accounting, economics, international finance, negotiation, and public speaking.

Interests I support causes that provide access to financial education, STEM programs for girls, and food security.

  • At BlackRock, I run mentorship programming for our East Coast classrooms in the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program.
  • I am the co-chair of the junior board at High Water Women and serve on the junior board of the Lower Eastside Girls Club.
  • At Georgetown, I was a Board Member of GU Women Coders, Digital Director for The Hilltop Microfinance Initiative, and Social Impact and Outreach Director for the GU Eating Society.
